This position functions as a lead engineer for the Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence (CDME) and is responsible for the execution of industry-led projects relating to medical device product development, and commercialization of new technology through integrated design and manufacturing approaches; works closely with industry partners to ensure projects are completed in accordance with project milestones, deliverable requirements and within the cost and schedule agreed upon during project scoping; works with OSU faculty, CDME staff and students to coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks; utilizes expertise and leadership in determining technical solutions for complex problems drawing upon personal experience, Ohio State University faculty, outside sources/suppliers, and staff wit
