Chief Engineer/Chemist

Nytricx, Inc., an Athens, GA-based medical device Company, is developing nitric oxide (NO)-releasing anti-infective and anti-thrombotic medical devices. The Company is hiring a full-time PhD level Scientist with experience in polymer chemistry and engineering of biomaterials. The successful candidate will have experience with both bioreactors and supervising animal models of bacteremia and thrombosis. The position will require preparing NO-releasing constructs for evaluating storage, stability, sterilizability as well as the determination of the antimicrobial and anti-thrombotic potential of various devices in vitro and in vivo.
