AAM Competition, LLC is hiring an experienced Production Development Engineer.  Must have the ability to conceptualize, design and fabricate new aftermarket exhaust systems, intake systems, turbo kits, and products using CAD software and shop equipment.  The ability to tig weld thin wall stainless and aluminum is essential.  

Duties:

*Collaborate with team members on new product ideas

*Model components in CAD

*Fabricate/design, build and test prototypes

*Create technical reports

*Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assemblies; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques

*Documents actions by completing records (materials, bends, techniques)

*Create build Instructions (for production) and installation instructions (for end users)

*Creation, fabricating, welding, production, and assembly/boxing of products

 Required Skills, Knowledge, and Training:

• 3D CAD software (ie. Solidworks)
• Metal fabrication experience, plastics/coatings/hardware experience a plus
• Tig welding
• Writing/drawing sbility
• Build of Materials creation ability
• Installation instruction writing ability
• Experience with project management
• Experience with supplier management
• Lifting Heavy Objects (40-60lbs)
• Creative
• Goal Oriented
• Efficient

Pay & Benefit Information:

Pay range DOE and varies depending on experience and your ability to handle multiple projects. If you have previously designed and prototyped/fabricated for production exhaust systems, headers, intakes, and/or turbo kits this job is for you.
