We are currently seeking a multi-talented technical professional to join our Team as a Product Development Engineer.

Our Product Development Engineer helps design and implement research projects, which includes analyzing information for those projects, and performs different laboratory tests and analyzes project information. The candidate’s primary role is in the fabrication, testing and measurement of advanced polymer structures to improve and enable the technology for commercialization to include coordinating and/or performing measurements of quantities including: optical loss, contrast, resolution, element size, element size distribution.
Our Qualified Applicant will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Science field required - Physics or Engineering Physics degree strongly preferred. Other Science disciplines considered if experience below is also evident.
One to three years of professional work experience required. Industry R&D environment experience preferred. Experience credit may be considered for related University Co-Op / Internship experiences.
Ability to understand concepts explored in the research, as well as skills in operating equipment used in the research.
Experience performing data analysis.
Experience with Transverse Anderson Localization is a plus.
Research and development experience in a plastic processing field is a plus.
Knowledge of and experience with the properties of polymers, organic and inorganic scintillating dopants is a plus.
Project Management experience is a plus.
