Formula for Success
Leveraging your Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or other engineering discipline combined with your engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, you will provide guidance and input to the achievement and development of plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets. Additionally, you will contribute to the achievement of production goals while meeting established standards of Safety, Efficiency Quality, Cost and Environmental Protection.
Your solid technical aptitude will serve you well as you manage production and process optimization, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical support to the operations organization.
As a key member of the Operations Team, you will work/lead operations personnel on key initiatives including Maintenance Process Improvement, Asset Effectiveness Tracking/Improvement, Leaders Standard Work, 5s/Lean Six Sigma activities.
Your keen attention to detail will be a valued asset as you develop equipment and process standards, operating procedures, diagrams, training materials, and job aids as required to properly document, teach, and manage site operations.
Your previous experience identifying and implementing process modifications to improve efficiency/reliability will be essential as you troubleshoot process control problems, identify causes and make recommendations for improvements and/or implement improvements.
Demonstrating any experience you have in programming DCS and/or PLC platforms (e.g. Honeywell, Delta V, ABB), you will implement and sustain Honeywell DCS applications, performing detailed engineering activities in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Providing leadership on project teams, you will assist with developing project approval packages, participate in approval review meetings, develop packages for contractors/vendors and perform contractor selection.
Using your previous experience in the facilitation and coordination of root cause failure analysis, you will provide continuous improvement and ensure alignment with other engineering disciplines. Additionally, you will evaluate new developments in advanced process control technology.
Successfully communicating across all levels, you will work closely with other support groups like Maintenance to ensure that proper priorities are placed on items in the Maintenance backlog and will interface with suppliers, customers, and vendors as needed to maintain plant operation.
Your solid understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment will be instrumental in driving the optimization of scheduled and unscheduled downtime and overall cycle time improvements (Asset Effectiveness and AE tools) and will allow you to assist the department in the coordination, planning, and execution of shutdown or turnaround work including maintenance and capital activities.
