We are seeking a professional like you to drive reliability by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. You will provide technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel, lead or participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses, and monitor KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. You will collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design, review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. You will supply technical support to troubleshooting of problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs. Additionally, you will ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your educational background in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical), along with your experience in a chemical/petrochemical or manufacturing environment in maintenance and/or reliability, you will provide mechanical reliability engineering expertise to the site.
Your ability to work with Asset Effectiveness resources will allow you to identify improvement opportunities and propose and implement sustainable solutions for rotating and fixed mechanical equipment.
Your solid understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, as well as your strong background in equipment troubleshooting (including root cause failure analysis and implementation of improvement efforts), is essential in the resolution of reliability issues.
Your background in the utilization of PdM tools (i.e vibration analysis, lube oil analysis, thermograph) for equipment condition evaluation and improvement will help you be successful in your role.
Demonstrating your experience in the optimization of equipment PM activities and strategies and your knowledge and experience to provide technical guidance to the operations and maintenance teams that you support.
Your thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment design and detailed understanding of maintenance and reliability activities associated with process equipment such as centrifugal pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels, (including heat exchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, positive displacement pumps, relief devices and compressors of various design is essential when providing technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel.
Your general knowledge of reliability tools such as bad actor program management, FMEA, equipment criticality, and equipment strategies will allow you to provide support to troubleshooting of problems.
Communicating effectively with facts and figures, along with your ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate with the teams that you support.
