An exciting opportunity for an Application Engineer awaits you at our Hatfield, PA office. (Hatfield is located half way between Philadelphia and Allentown). In this position you will serve as the primary, customer-facing, technical resource within the sales group, be responsible for developing opportunities through static audits, technical presentations (customer sites and industry events), and participate in industry related technical groups.
Responsibilities in your role as Application Engineer will include:
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications
Identify and provide reliable solutions for technical issues
Have an understanding of industrial market as related to static control
Perform technical / product training to sales personnel
Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendations
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
Write and submit white papers, presenting at technical / trade conferences; with travel up to 50%
Understand and execute the ITW Business Model

Ideal candidates will possess:
BS Engineering, Technical Field or equivalent industry experience
3-5 years Engineering experience
Customer Service / Sales support experience
