We are seeking a professional like you to serve as an Analyzer Engineer/Specialist. Laboratory Services provides the Freeport site with laboratory and process analytics in support of manufacturing and business units. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, proposing new analyzer systems and driving continuous improvement of analyzer systems. As the Analyzer Engineer/Specialist, you will be responsible for leading process analyzer projects, identifying new process analytical technology and implementing continuous improvement initiatives . Additionally, you will be a key contact with the NA and Global PAT team and drive the overall improvement of process analytics for the Freeport Site.

Leveraging your educational background in an Engineering discipline, as well as your extensive professional experience within a chemical/petrochemical and/or manufacturing environment, you will identify improvement opportunities and propose and implement sustainable solutions for lab and field process analytical equipment and assets.
Your ability to develop and implement work processes to improve process analytical asset reliability, sustainability, accuracy, and maintenance cost will allow you to provide manufacturing with key performance indicators in product quality to maximize profitability.
Your strategic thinking to develop long term process analytical improvement processes and translate them to a yearly roadmap will ensure that you can maintain and improve analytical reliability and asset availability for manufacturing.
Your understanding of best industry practices regarding maintenance and reliability activities and work process will allow you to lead process analytical improvements through identification of poor technology placement and poor reliability.
With accountability with site teams, your expert knowledge of process analytical technology will allow you to provide our manufacturing partners with sustainable product quality through effective utilization of process analyzers.
Your strong communications skills will be a valued asset as you provide facts and figures to collaborate and negotiate with Engineers, Maintenance and Operations Personnel to provide design review, repair and maintenance support, including optimization of assets and process measures.
