The Tooling/Molding Validation Engineer will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. The main objective for the role will be: to maintain validation engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.
Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on validation activities.
Supports Validation Engineers and Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on validation related issues.
Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.
Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Bachelors’ degree Engineering and 7+ years of relevant mold experience in plastics/injection molding.
Versed in MSA, SPC, Gage R&R, Characterization and Statistical Studies.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques and normality.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.
Typically requires skill and troubleshooting, and diagnostics, and overview of the entire test process and the ability to train others.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations.
Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
Understanding of Minitab or applicable.

Prefer prior experience with Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry
CQE a major plus
History with TMV (test method validation)
