Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to provide technical expertise to the Maintenance Organization by utilizing your 5 + years of experience in maintenance and rotating equipment. You will have accountability for site preventative and predictive maintenance activities. Additionally, you will react to equipment failures and drive to the root cause through troubleshooting, RCFA, and bad actor / asset effectiveness programs, you will continuously improve the reliability of site assets through training, procedure updates, expense projects, and small capital projects.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Using your B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, you will p rovide technical support to the maintenance supervisor, specialists, and crafts on difficult equipment repair problems as well as provide the operating units with troubleshooting support and recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
Your knowledge and experience in maintenance and reliability strategies and best practices including failure modes and effects analysis, root cause failure analysis, and mean time between failures methodology will assist you in your success here at BASF.
Preferred Certifications may include:
Certifications in Maintenance & Reliability (CMRP).
Certifications in vibration analysis and oil analysis.
Experience with pump system design and modeling.
Experience with non-destructive testing.
Knowledge of API, ASME, and ISO industry standards for fixed and rotating equipment.
Knowledge of equipment fabrication, inspection, and repair codes and standards applicable to the chemical industry.
