BS Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical Engineering preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a chemical/petrochemical or other similar manufacturing environment -OR- Associates Degree in a related technical discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a chemical/petrochemical or other similar manufacturing environment.
At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience with PLC programing, controls systems, automation, and instrumentation.
Demonstrated experience collaborating across departments on and off site, to accomplish common goals.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting controls systems' problems in the different manufacturing areas.
Ability to communicate information to colleagues across the organization, via presentations, webinars and other written documentation.
Currently working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of chemical unit and material handling operations.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC systems, ASPEN, Rockwell Automation, and Rice Lake scale controllers.
