Position Description:
Purpose and Summary of position: (5-8 major activities): The purpose of this role is to develop and execute the strategic marketing plan (strategy) for the segment (under hood). Conduct industry/segment analyses to quantify the industry/segment trends, drivers, size, and growth rates. Understand the value chain of the segment and determine the key wants/needs. Conduct competitive analysis, value determination and pricing strategy. Develop and maintain a healthy and robust project pipeline, individualy and/or indirectly in conjunction with Application Development Engineers and Account Development Managers for the segment. Utilize Ticona's Stage Gate process to introduct new products within the segment. Work closely with Ticona's Account Development Managers, ADE's, and OEM Managers to ensure coordination and success. Based out of Ticona'a Auburn Hills, MI facility with customer interaction primarily in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Position requires travel (~30%+).
