(PCI) • Became part of the Ticona family in 1986 • The facility, constructed in 1991, is located between the rolling bluffs of the beautiful Mississippi River Valley in Winona, Minn., about 120 miles southeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. • Principal Products: Celstran and Compel Purpose and Summary of position:
Responsible for the process development of continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastics (CFRTP) pultruded products with various fiber reinforcements and thermoplastic polymer matrices. • This person will be gathering input from the sales and marketing team, as well as customers, in order to facilitate the development of new products, using both novel & existing process methods to meet or exceed their requirements • This job will require close collaboration with various tooling & equipment manufacturers, design companies, raw material vendors and internal departments, (e.g. analytics & testing, R&D of other product lines, and CAE/CFD/CAD support) • Developing process technology for multiple composite designs by combining thermoplastic polymers and fibers via pultrusion process • This position will also encompass working with plant engineering on the scale-up process for production
