Where the Chemistry Happens...
As a member of our operations team, reporting to the Production Execution Manager, you will be responsible for providing operations engineering support and assisting with ensuring the daily execution team remains within regulatory compliance.
Provide troubleshooting assistance to the daily execution team.
Review environmental compliance records and periodic reporting requirements.
Support and provide input to site environmental strategies.
Participate in PHAs as necessary.
Generate and complete MOCs for necessary changes.
Support permitting efforts for capital projects.
Ensure daily execution team is fulfilling regulatory requirements.
Identify improvement opportunities and support site OPEX strategies.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You...
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing operations, capital projects, or EHS.
Practical experience in troubleshooting process or equipment related issues.
Knowledge if OSHA, EPA, TCEQ and other regulatory agencies.
Strong understanding of process engineering concepts and their applications.
BASF recognizes institutions of higher education that are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
