The Quality Manager position develops, implements and manages quality systems designed to ensure continuous production and delivery of high quality livestock and pet identification products.
Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained to achieve a high level of internal and external customer service.
Gather, organize and report on quality issues on a regular basis. Tracking status of improvement actions to ensure they are followed through. Report to top management on the performance of the quality systems and any need for improvement.
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Liaise with the corporate office to ensure compliance and synchronicity with company programs and with external assessment body(s) on all matters related to the external accreditation process.
Administer and ensure the implementation and compliance to the specific requirements of our ISO 9001 program and related on-going quality control objectives. Maintain company quality standards.
Investigate and have a high level of involvement in the correction of customer issues and complaints relating to quality, both product and service. Function as the primary point of contact for both the Datamars sales team and LID customers with coordination with the Woburn location for PID issues.
Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams. Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams. Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

This is largely a sedentary role; but with frequent periods of walking, standing and bending.
Location/Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position based in Temple, Texas. Normal hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Travel is minimal, although infrequent overnight travel should be expected. On rare occasions, international travel may be required.
